Description Of Work
Assist the Director of Football Nutrition in the oversight of all performance nutrition needs, nutrition program and nutrition operations for football. Collaborate with football dietitians to communicate updates to coaching, sports medicine, counseling, strength and conditioning staff for nutrition concerns and priorities. Assist with coordination with culinary staff and outside catering for competition meals, pre- and post-game meals, along with daily execution of performance meals.
Perform body composition testing and evaluate results into individual action plans for student athletes, discuss results with football dietitians in order to provide optimal care to student athlete. Counsel and educate football student-athletes on performance nutrition, individual meal plans, weight loss/gain, hydration, and medical conditions.
The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Must be able to work a non-standard work week which may include nights, weekends, and holidays, and travel if needed with teams.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Nutrition and 2 years work experience with a collegiate or professional sports team. Strong communication, interpersonal and team-oriented skills. Registered Dietitian and CPR Certified.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred. Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics ( CSSD ) or eligible.
