Performance Head Coach Men’s Rugby Programme

Loughborough University is seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious Head Coach to lead the Men’s Rugby Union programme, based in the Sports Development Centre.

The main duties will include coaching the performance squad (including leading on training and preparing the BUCS Super Rugby team); delivery of both individual and small group technical/tactical development sessions; leading on selection and the management of the multi-disciplinary team; and reviewing and analysing the performance of both Loughborough and opposition teams through use of the appropriate match videos on elite hub and as provided by the Loughborough programme analysts. The role may require some flexibility in working hours so as to ensure timetabled sessions are well supported.

The successful candidate should be a highly motivated individual with good practical and communication skills who works well as part of a team.
