Athletic Trainer (Voyagers) – Full Time

This is a year round position where you oversee the Voyagers in the summer and clinic hours team in the winter. The job will have multiple main duties.

  1. Assist with coverage including travel with Voyagers Baseball team during season end of May thru beginning of September.
  2. Assist with warmups prior to practice. Tape and evaluate injuries as needed prior to/during/and after games. Communicate with coaches in regard to any injuries.
  3. Assist with patient flow and exercises under the direction of the physical therapists/owner.
  4. Assist with sports conditioning program of athletes.

It is important that the patients be taken care of promptly and efficiently. It includes coordinating with the therapists on how the treatment of the patient is coming along and when and who is ready for them to treat. They will need to have good time management skills in order to keep things running smoothly, in an orderly fashion and able to follow direction. There will be floor duties such as patient care, cleaning and laundry. They will need to be capable of helping the therapist instruct patients on home and in office exercises. This is not a sedentary job and is a job that requires one to be on their feet most of the time they are at work.

Must have ATC licensure in state of Montana or begin process to obtain it (3-6 weeks).

Licenciado en Actividad Física (Universidad del Salvador) y Especialista en Fisiología del Ejercicio (Universidad Nacional de La Plata). Cuenta con dos maestrías internacionales: MSc. Strength and Conditioning (University of Greenwich) y MSc. Complex Systems in Sports (Universitat de Barcelona).

Está certificado por la National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) como Certified Performance and Sports Scientist (CPSS), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) y Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). Además, se desempeña como docente en la Universidad del Salvador.

Actualmente es CEO de Comunidad LIFT y NSCA Manager LATAM, liderando proyectos de formación y desarrollo profesional en ciencias del deporte. También se desempeña como Director of Data Science & Performance Innovation en Utah Soccer (Real Salt Lake, Utah Royals y Real Monarchs), donde lidera la estrategia de innovación, análisis de datos y sistemas de rendimiento a nivel organizacional.

Ha ocupado roles destacados como Coordinador de Rendimiento en la Selección Mexicana de Fútbol y Sports Scientist en HUDL, integrando ciencia aplicada, tecnología y metodología contemporánea en el alto rendimiento.
