Equipment Manager Internship- Fall 2026

Compensation: College Credit
Length of Internship: Fall (August-November)

The Racing Louisville FC Equipment Intern will be responsible for assisting the Head Equipment Manager with day-to-day equipment operations within the Racing Louisville Football Club, working closely with coaching staff and players. This is not a paid internship, must be receiving college credit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist Technical Staff with daily training session setup/clean up and provide support during the sessions
  • Assist in the preparation of first team apparel including laundry, pressing, and distribution of gear
  • Assist in the upkeep of the locker room ensuring all staff and players have what is needed for games and training
  • Assist in maintaining inventory records of supplies, equipment, and apparel
  • Work all home Racing Louisville games, including locker room set up and clean up
  • Assist in all areas of soccer operations as needed
  • Assist with planning logistics for away trips including packing and movement of team equipment
  • Provide support for non-traveling players when needed (this position does not include travel)
  • Assist the Equipment Manager with any other tasks that are needed

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in college or university
  • Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environments
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends as well as all weather conditions
  • Must be available on all home Racing games
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check and become Safesport certified
  • Must have reliable transportation and housing

Licenciado en Actividad Física (Universidad del Salvador) y Especialista en Fisiología del Ejercicio (Universidad Nacional de La Plata). Cuenta con dos maestrías internacionales: MSc. Strength and Conditioning (University of Greenwich) y MSc. Complex Systems in Sports (Universitat de Barcelona).

Está certificado por la National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) como Certified Performance and Sports Scientist (CPSS), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) y Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). Además, se desempeña como docente en la Universidad del Salvador.

Actualmente es CEO de Comunidad LIFT y NSCA Manager LATAM, liderando proyectos de formación y desarrollo profesional en ciencias del deporte. También se desempeña como Director of Data Science & Performance Innovation en Utah Soccer (Real Salt Lake, Utah Royals y Real Monarchs), donde lidera la estrategia de innovación, análisis de datos y sistemas de rendimiento a nivel organizacional.

Ha ocupado roles destacados como Coordinador de Rendimiento en la Selección Mexicana de Fútbol y Sports Scientist en HUDL, integrando ciencia aplicada, tecnología y metodología contemporánea en el alto rendimiento.
